One way to avoid this and still get a good quality score is implementing three way linking. Three way...

Google Has Plenty of Competition
When we think of Google’s competitors, Yahoo and Microsoft often come immediately to mind. We think of other search engines. There’s no question that Google is (by far) dominating this space. What do you think Google’s greatest source of competition is? Share your thoughts . We all know that Google has its hands in many other projects beyond search, but even in search itself, it is not impossible that another could come along and win people over. One of the key elements of a sales or squeeze page is trying to eliminate too much scrolling below the fold because of an abundance of text that distracts the consumer from buying your product. However, you still want keyword-rich text to get a high quality score from Google. How do you accomplish this? Simple—cloaking text. When I first started web designing around 2001, I always designed my sites using tables. The reason for this is simple: at the time, browser support for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) was limited, and as a novice designer, I found tables easy and quick to implement. In the past couple of years I have finally made the switch and now design entirely with CSS. (with maybe a table or two sprinkled throughout) For those who have used CSS for any amount of time, I am sure you are thinking “What took you so long?” For others, you may not be intimately familiar with the benefits of CSS. The reasons...

A new virus has managed to furtively place malicious Javascript code on thousands of popular websites such as ColdwellBanker.com, Variety.com and Tennis.com. Known as Gumblar, JSRedir-R, Martuz and Beladin, the virus tries to infect site visitors through Internet Explorer and then attempts to use their PC to spread the infection to other sites using the computer’s FTP client.
Once a PC is running this malware, the hacker code tries to trick the user into opening infected PDF and Flash files. Once opened, the infected files install a keylogger or other malware. In the case of Gumblar,...
